DALLAS, TX–(Marketwire – Jun 26, 2012) – SkinzWraps, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SKZW), a founding father and recognized vanguard of the vehicle wrap industry, confirms that after extensive negotiations it has solidified a joint venture with Phoenix, Arizona-based DrivenMedia. The entity from which this venture will be “driven” is the newly formed DrivenMedia by SkinzWraps, Inc.
Originally founded in 2008 by Brandon Clarke, DrivenMedia established itself as a strategic, performance-driven mobile advertising medium. DrivenMedia attained new heights in marketing by equipping ambassadors (Brand Drivers) with the highest quality graphic advertisements on their vehicles, and delivered these mobile ambassadors with precise consideration to targeted areas where their activities had the most impact on an advertiser’s target customer. “We pay people to represent our clients, but we look for quite a bit more than just a warm body in an SUV,” says Clarke. “We’ve maintained a multi-point vetting process to ensure our clients are well represented out in the community.”
Brand strength, reputation, track record, locations, cost of goods, and expertise are several of the immediate benefits of teaming up with SkinzWraps. Alongside these benefits, SkinzWraps has rebranded and redesigned DrivenMedia’s corporate website, and begun early development of a mobile application. Through this forthcoming “app,” DrivenMedia by SkinzWraps will harness the horsepower of the newest frontier in advertising: mobile phone-based, location-specific social media.
For SkinzWraps, Inc., this joint venture presents a very unique opportunity to redefine the vehicle wrap industry in the same way social media is redefining advertising and marketing. “Driven Media by SkinzWraps will be the genuine hybrid of craft and commodity. The result of this hybrid should be rapid, yet sustainable scalability. This type of scalability is the holy grail of the vehicle wrap industry, and it has yet to be successfully accomplished because the industry’s gravity (craft) is hard to properly overcome,” says Peter Salaverry, CEO of SkinzWraps, Inc. He adds, “This should bring long-term positive impact to shareholders of SkinzWraps, which is a core tenant of the SkinzWraps philosophy.”
