SkinzWraps, Inc., a full-service vehicle wrap company, helped 7-Eleven, Inc. transform 12 of its North American stores for the month of July into “Kwik-E-Marts,” the popular convenience outlet featured on “The Simpsons” TV show.
Working with 7-Eleven and its Dallas-based advertising agency FreshWorks, SkinzWraps, Inc. was asked to handle the large-format printing of canopies for six of the 12 stores that received the promotional makeovers in addition to six large banners that were used to cover the existing 7-Eleven signs. In total, SkinzWraps delivered in excess of 4,000 square feet and supported the installation for the Dallas 7-Eleven® “Kwik-E-Mart.” Those stores and most of the 5,800 U.S. and Canadian 7-Eleven stores are selling items that until now existed only on television: Buzz Cola, KrustyO’s cereal and Squishees, the slushy-drink knockoff of Slurpee® drinks.
“Being selected to work on this high-impact promotion with 7-Eleven is both exciting and a reflection of SkinzWraps’ ability to deliver for those at the top of their creative game especially when a lot is on the line,” says Peter C. Salaverry, Chairman & CEO of SkinzWraps, Inc. The U.S. locations where a 7-Eleven store was transformed into a Kwik-E-Mart are New York City; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Burbank, Calif.; Los Angeles; Henderson, Nev.; Orlando, Fla.; Mountain View, Calif.; Seattle and Bladensburg, Md. It’s all part of a campaign to hype next month’s opening of “The Simpsons Movie,” the big-screen debut for the long-running television cartoon.
